Rosemary Mint Shampoo Bar

Scented with organic peppermint oil, which will leave your scalp feeling tingly clean, and organic rosemary oil, which is used to protect against environmental damage.

This soap is made from a luxurious blend of organic avocado oil, organic wheat germ oil, organic castor oil, organic jojoba oil, organic coconut oil, organic palm oil, and organic shea and mango butters.  See this page for more about the ingredients I use.

Shampoo bars are wonderful – no plastic bottle, no preservatives, no unpronounceable ingredients, no leakage, no airplane travel restrictions.  To use, add water and rub into a lather in your hands, then massage the lather into your hair.  Or rub the bar a couple of times over your hair and massage into a lather.  Rinse hair thoroughly, then do a final rinse with diluted lemon juice or vinegar (2 Tbsp in 1 cup warm water).  Rinse again to remove the lemon residue.

Shampoo bars work great for many people, but don’t work well in areas with hard water or on some types of hair.  Try a bar to see if it works for you; if it doesn’t work on your hair, it makes a wonderfully conditioning body bar.
